Energy Star rated builder
West Standard Design Build is an Energy Star rated builder partner. This nationally recognized designation means that each of our new-construction homes exceeds energy efficiency requirements as set forth in the current building code. To earn the Energy Star rating, West Standard submits construction-architecture to an Energy Star approved rater. The rater then evaluates the architecture and works with us to identify areas where energy efficiency might be increased. Finally, the energy rater tests the new home to scientifically determine its Home Energy Rating Score (HERS). The HERS rating achieved by West Standard homes will generally exceed current-code efficiency standards by twenty percent or greater.
